Meet the artist
Hi there!

I'm a wildlife biologist and conservationist turned pet portraiture and wildlife fine artist based in Colorado.

My fondest childhood moments were the days spent looking under rocks for insects, collecting crawdads from the creek, birdwatching and wandering the forests absorbing all the Rocky Mountain flora and fauna could show me. As this love of the natural world expanded, it led to an early career in conservation working with endangered species.
My artistic endeavors were set aside except for the occasional sketch here and there in the margins of data sheets. After living in Alaska, I reignited my passion for art now specializing in realistic acrylic, pastel, and charcoal pieces. I strive to bring the individuality and reverence of each animal onto the canvas; capturing their personality for a unique, family heirloom to be cherished.
